Does signing petitions and sharing posts count as advocacy? Some of us are limited by health issues and can't do a whole lot outside of our homes, sadly.
Activists over the years seem to have quite a few jaundice opinions about petitions, believe most ended up in the bin (before email petitions). Do we know if emailed petitions get opened? I think they can have educational value if the language is carefully considered. It would be interesting to see rights-based language on petitions to challenge the current welfarist “factory farming” ones.
